For me it's simple. Because I happen to be living in Wisconsin right now. But I plan on moving to Ukraine at some time in the future. In the meantime I'm trying to learn the Russian language and to read the Cyrillic alphabet. I'm in my mid 50's and I am still working on English :-) Russian is a hard language to learn, at least for me.
I was looking into moving to Ukraine to teach English when the opportunity arose to join a new non profit to fight human trafficking in the world especially in Ukraine and so my focus is on the human trafficking and now I hope to move their once our non profit becomes big enough. We are presently waiting for our final IRS approval and then we will become operational. It's exciting for me to make a difference in the world.
Why Ukraine you may ask? I have had the pleasure to travel there on three occasions. They are a country that is struggling but looking forward to the future. The people are down to earth and friendly once you get to know them and there is just something special about it. I will gladly tell you more about Ukraine and my adventures as my time permits and as I figure out just how I need to post to this blog as this is also CONFUSING to me. Do you see a recurring theme here?
